Meet the owner

Jonathan Kneen is the Principal Designer and Managing Director of Creative Interiors. It is fair to say that building and joinery is in Jonathan’s blood. His late father was the owner of local reputable building company Kaneen & Kneen of Peel for over 35 years.

“Since the early age of 10 years old, I remember going to work with my father in the afternoons during the school holidays. I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to learn the industry from what I now call an “old school” company, which believed in doing the job right!” explains Jonathan. “Those early years have given me a strong foundation upon which to build a reputable business of my own. This ensures my customers benefit from excellent customer service, a highly skilled team and a solid work ethic.

A new kitchen is so more than replacing units and worktops, it is a building project in its own right and should be led by an experienced individual who can be called upon should a problem arise. There are so many Isle of Man kitchen and building companies around these days who simply rely on the tradesmen they employ to oversee the project and any problems. When investing so much money in a renovation it is important that an experienced professional is at hand”.

With qualifications in Advanced Joinery and Building Management and having been a lecturer and NVQ Assessor in Carpentry and Joinery it is fair to say you will be in safe hands.

Jonathan is married to Laurelle and has 4 children. In his spare time, he can be found with his 2 dogs out on the beaches around the west coast of the Island.
